Teaching Experience:
Ellen Winner has been an independent piano teacher since 1967. (In addition, she taught general music and choral music for three years in New York City Public Schools and music for preschoolers for ten years in Northern Virginia.) Composition has been part of the curriculum for all her piano students since 1992.

Mrs. Winner is author of over forty works for early level piano study, including "methods", repertoire, (solos and duets), duet arrangements, piano and percussion ensembles, workbooks, teaching aids and theory games.
